i-ais-AN2
Aid to Navigation
The i-ais-AN2 is an AIS Aid to Navigation device that broadcasts AIS Message 21, providing real-time information about the location and status of the AtoN where it is physically or virtually deployed. The i-ais-AN2 transmits both static and dynamic data, including the name, type, MMSI, position, lantern status, rotating beacon status, battery voltage, and more, to other AIS devices.
Designed to enhance maritime safety and streamline vessel navigation, it is an essential tool for maritime authorities managing vessel traffic. Additionally, the i-ais-AN2 can be securely queried and configured via VDL (VHF Data Link) using encrypted AIS Message 6.
Equipped with a powerful CPU, the i-ais-AN2 supports simultaneous NMEA communication through multiple interfaces, enabling seamless integration with various AtoN devices such as RACON, MOS, and lanterns. Its flexible lantern interface is compatible with leading LED lantern brands, ensuring reliable communication. Moreover, optional RS-232 serial communication with rotating beacons is available via the Rotating Beacon Interface Unit, providing enhanced functionality and versatility.
