Turkey’s first national frigate, TCG Istanbul, has officially entered service with the Turkish Navy following a commissioning ceremony. Produced as part of the MİLGEM Istif-Class, the frigate boasts the highest rate of domestic production to date—80% local content. Among its cutting-edge national electronic warfare systems are the iMarine WAIS Systems.

Alongside the Istanbul Frigate, the Turkish Navy also received TCG Derya, the second largest vessel in the fleet. Designed as a Replenishment and Command Ship, TCG Derya is also equipped with iMarine WAIS Systems.
